MacroMotive Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MacroMotive, provided by Motive Technologies LLC. By using the app, you agree to them.

1. The App

MacroMotive provides AI-assisted nutrition logging and fitness coaching based on data you provide and, with your permission, data read from Apple Health or Health Connect. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice — coaching output is informational and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare provider.

2. Your Account

You sign in with Apple on iOS or Google on Android. You're responsible for keeping your device and account secure. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → "Delete account & data", or request help at macromotive.app/delete-account.

3. Acceptable Use

Use the app only for its intended purpose — logging your own nutrition and fitness data and receiving coaching based on it. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to process data on behalf of people who haven't consented to this app's Privacy Policy.

4. AI-Generated Content

Macro estimates, coaching advice, and other AI-generated content are estimates based on the information available and may be inaccurate. Use your judgment, especially around allergies, medical conditions, or anything safety-relevant.

5. Subscription and Purchases

MacroMotive Pro subscription. Where offered, MacroMotive Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available through the store on your device. The product page shows the current price, billing period, included features, and any free-trial terms before you confirm a purchase. A Pro subscription includes an allowance of AI usage; service and allowance details may change over time subject to applicable law and store rules.

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. An iOS purchase is processed and managed by Apple; an Android purchase is processed and managed by Google Play. The applicable store charges the payment method associated with your store account and manages renewal, cancellation, billing issues, and refunds under its own terms. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through your Apple Account or Google Play subscriptions settings before its next renewal. Deleting your MacroMotive account does not cancel a subscription.

6. Store Terms

When you download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store's terms also govern your use of that store and its billing services. These terms do not replace rights you have under applicable consumer law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
