MacroMotive Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MacroMotive. By using the app, you agree to them.

1. The App

MacroMotive provides AI-assisted nutrition logging and fitness coaching based on data you provide and, with your permission, data read from Apple Health. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice — coaching output is informational and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare provider.

2. Your Account

You sign in with your Apple ID via Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your device and account secure. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → "Delete account & data".

3. Acceptable Use

Use the app only for its intended purpose — logging your own nutrition and fitness data and receiving coaching based on it. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to process data on behalf of people who haven't consented to this app's Privacy Policy.

4. AI-Generated Content

Macro estimates, coaching advice, and other AI-generated content are estimates based on the information available and may be inaccurate. Use your judgment, especially around allergies, medical conditions, or anything safety-relevant.

5. Subscription and Purchases

MacroMotive Pro subscription. MacroMotive offers a single auto-renewing subscription, MacroMotive Pro, available as a monthly or annual plan and, where you are eligible, starting with a free trial. A Pro subscription includes a monthly allowance of AI usage (coach messages and meal scans); when that allowance is used up within a billing period, further AI usage in that period continues on a lighter, faster model rather than stopping. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple Account settings; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices and included allowances may change over time, subject to Apple's rules and applicable law.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple under its terms; refunds are handled by Apple, and a refunded subscription entitlement is removed from your account.

6. Apple's Standard EULA

Unless superseded by a term above, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (available in the App Store) governs your use of the app as distributed through the App Store.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
